BBC consult Robinson Jackson for local house values
For their popular daytime TV program ‘Homes Under The Hammer’, where a property is purchased at auction for refurbishment , the BBC have twice this week shown programs where Robinson Jackson have been consulted to comment on values.
Tony Hodges at Welling was asked to value a 3 bed semi in Welling that was an unfinished modernisation project and Kevin Winchester was asked to look at an ex council house in Orpington which was badly altered and extended. Both gave valuations which were very close to the selling prices
Commenting on their brief TV careers Tony Hodges commented “ I was surprised at how many people were on site to produce such a simple programme”. Kevin added “With so much filming and so little actually shown I don’t think I would have time to be a TV star- even if I had the looks !”
As Robinson Jackson are leading estate agents in the areas in which they operate they are often consulted on the many TV property shows and appear again in February when a property in Plumstead is being auctioned.
