Bexleyheath Branch Support Childrens Hospice

ESTATE AGENTS HELP RAISE THE ROOF

AT NEW CHILDRENS HOSPICE

Demelza’s new children’s hospice off Court Road Eltham London SE9 is progressing well with the roof cover finished this week. Tim Blair, Project Manager says he ‘is looking forward to the day when the doors open and needy local children can take advaqntage of the various support services to be offered’.

Demelza will provide support to families who have a child with a life limiting condition and will offer short residential breaks to provide respite, day care and a hospice-at-home care service with paediatric nurses making visits to children. The new facilities are expected to open at the end of 2008 to cover five local London boroughs.

Ian DeLorean, Senior Partner of Robinson-Jackson Estate Agents in Bexleyheath, pledged to continue to support Demelza’s Appeal in 2007 and was guided over the site.

‘I was  amazed at how this fantastic idea is now reality in the making. On time, within budget and with loads of excitement for the day it would be completed. The hospice will provide much needed facilities and services for the children and their families and I am privileged and very proud to be making some contribution. Our branch in Bexleyheath has been able to promote awareness in the area through board stickers, car stickers, newsletters, flyers and advetising screen content and has also made a donation in the region of £8,000.

I was delighted that I was given the chance of a guided tour by Tim as his wealth of knowledge was invaluable and I am looking forward to seeing the finished hospice at the end of the year’.

Robinson-Jackson Bexleyheath donates £25 to Demelza for each FOR SALE board erected and further £25 on completion of a sale.
