Our Credentials

Whether you are buying, selling, renting or looking to let you should use an estate agent with a long standing reputation in the area and can present you with genuine positive feedback from their clients. You should also look for professional accreditations clearly displayed by the agent you are intending to use.
All Robinson Jackson branches operate with the utmost integrity and are credited by the leading professional and government regulators in the property market. You should be looking for the following logos in the branch windows and websites of the estate agents you may be considering. Lead regulators recommend that you should not do business with any property company that does not display accreditations from reputable industry bodies.
It is a sad fact that some unpleasant issues have arisen in the lettings market. This has happened partly because of small agencies going bust and leaving tenants without their security deposits and the emergence of scams run through private ad websites. It is important that you only use a company that you feel at ease with and clearly displays its credentials.
Ombudsman
As a member of The Property Ombudsman, we follow the code of practice for both residential sales and lettings which have been approved by the OFT under the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme. All members of staff are made familiar with the ‘Code of Practice for Residential Estate Agents’ and with a comprehensive internal complaints procedure, the need for the Ombudsman has rarely arisen.
NAEA
Many of the companies' Partners are NAEA members and have been for many years. The National Association of Estate Agents is a strict regulatory body that has been established for many years and only offers accreditation to agents that adhere to the highest professional standards. By choosing an estate agency that has members in the NAEA, you know that you are safeguarded and you can feel secure in the knowledge that you and your property are in safe hands.
ARLA
Many of our lettings managers are qualified through ARLA, the Association of Residential Letting Agents. We follow the recommended ‘Best Practice Guidelines’ whilst maintaining a commercial approach to our business. We have long-standing members who play an active role attending quarterly meetings.
SafeAgent
SAFEagent is a fully endorsed kite mark denoting agents that protect landlords’ and tenants’ money through client money protection schemes. This will protect deposit monies held. Note, if you are paying your deposit directly to a landlord you should make sure they are covered by a similar scheme.
Robinson Jackson the award-winning estate agent
It is nice to be recognised within the industry by our peers for the service we provide. We have won many industry awards over the years which we display with pride. We were awarded The Sunday Times 'Best Medium Estate Agency' award which was a huge achievement given the competitive nature of the local marketplace and the stature we have amongst over 3,000 other estate agents in the UK.
