MID YEAR MARKET REPORT - THE FACTS
Starting with getting 'doom and gloom' and 'speculation' off the agenda for the first time in two years, Robinson-Jackson's 30 branch and
department estate agency group report achieving better sales and higher sale prices month on month this year.
'That,' Peter Jackson observes, 'is great news for vendors and a wake up call for first time buyers and vendors wondering whether to move to a

'We've sold around £280,000,000 worth of property in the first six months of 2009 and that's a really active property market in anyone's eyes.
A landmark for the Group was our Gravesend office making 40 quality sales in June alone. Again, that's great business and puts us right back to
where we were two years ago. A big feature of the current market is the re-emergence of the truly quality sale, as it used to be, pre-sub prime
mortgages and such nonsense caused by ridiculous 125% mortgages. For any property listed by us we now have a good fully qualified buyer with a
mortgage arranged in principle. What we sell proceeds through to completion, largely without a hitch. It really is great news for buyer and
seller alike.
With the added clear evidence that most house prices in our area have slowly been rising by around £2,000 month on month for the past four months,
we unreservedly conclude we are now well past the bottom of the market,' concludes Jackson.
