Anthony Bowles
Promoted to Branch Manager at Eltham
What did you do before joining us? I worked at another Estate Agency in Bexleyheath before joining Robinson Jackson Plumstead. I then worked in our Welling branch before moving to Eltham.
What attracted you to estate agency? The flexibility and opportunity of everyday being slightly different from the last. I was drawn to estate agency because it’s a career where hard work and initiative directly lead to success. I like that it’s target-driven.
What type of mentoring or support have you received during your time with us, and what advice has been a great help? Since joining Robinson Jackson over 11 years ago, I've had the privilege of working with several different managers, all with different ways of working and expertise to pass on. Each one has helped me differently, and I’ve taken something positive from all of them. I’ve also worked with some great personalities within the teams, which has been a great learning experience and helped me grow both personally and professionally. The mentoring from the Group is great.
What are your ambitions for the future? To grow the Eltham office into one of the best in the company.
What do you like most about working here? The people I work with, and also the name that the Robinson Jackson Group carries in the estate agency world.
Any advice to those considering a career in estate agency? Estate agency can be a really rewarding career, but also challenging as well so be ready to be able to adapt to different situations. But if you are willing to work hard, you will reap a lot back.
WILDCARD - What did you want to be when you were 10 years old? When I was 10 I think I changed my mind every week but I'm glad I chose the right career and am where I want to be.
