Promoted to Assistant Branch Manager at Rainham
What did you do before joining us?
Before joining Robinson Michael & Jackson, I was completing an apprenticeship with horses whilst also studying for my A levels.
What attracted you to estate agency?
I've always wanted a career related to housing. Initially, I was interested in architecture, but I realised that exams and school didn't bring out the best in me. That's when I discovered my interest in selling houses and decided to pursue estate agency.
Vacancies are always changing, so please contact us if a suitable position for you is not featured below. We may even be able to create a role for you.
Every now and then, we come across someone who's switched-on, great with people and clearly has something about them – even if they've never worked in estate agency before.
We're far more interested in your energy, communication skills and mindset than your industry experience. Whether you're new to the world of work or ready to explore a new direction, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Overview
Moving home is a significant moment in someone's life and our sales teams are committed to making sure it goes smoothly. Whether you're managing the seller’s journey, helping a first-time buyer through their viewings or celebrating with a customer when they receive their keys. This is a role built on people and communications.
If you're intrigued by a new career in sales or you are an experienced estate agent ready to hit the ground running, there's a role here for you.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days look the same. You'll be on the phone, managing emails and messages and talking face-to-face with customers. Relationships come first – with sellers and buyers, so you can identify what's really driving their move and how you can help them get there. A team around you will share their experience throughout the day and you'll have leading communication tools and technology to help you work with confidence.
Alongside time spent at the office, you'll also be out for appointments – visiting homes, conducting viewings and listening to buyers' reactions to the properties they visit with you. The local area becomes second nature too – knowing what it has to offer so you can talk buyers through the lifestyle they can expect. As the role expands, you'll discuss offers with customers, book valuations and represent the Robinson Jackson Group to homeowners looking for the best agent to use.
What We'll Look For in You
Whether you've worked in sales or property before, we're more interested in how your personality will enhance the experience that benefits our customers.
We value:
What We Can Offer You
Just Starting Out?
You'll build tangible skills from day one, learning by doing. That means getting to grips with what a customer needs, discussing opportunities with confidence and guiding people through their journey. Along the way, you'll pick up mortgage and legal knowledge so you can support customers through serious decisions they must take when buying or selling a property. If you're curious, adaptable and open to feedback, you'll fit right in. Our structured framework takes you on a quick learning curve, backed by daily mentoring from colleagues who've been exactly where you are.
Already Experienced?
You've got a solid skills base and now it’s your time to discover what life’s like in a fast-paced sales environment. At the Robinson Jackson Group, we'll take you further. We want you to succeed and gain the recognition you deserve. You’ll be using market-leading technology to do the heavy lifting – CRM systems and integrated marketing tools to free up time to focus on your customers. When you're ready for more, the regular one-to-ones and our development framework keep building with you. From there, it can lead to coaching others or a path towards management status.
The Social Side Of The RJ Group
We believe hard work should be recognised beyond a ‘thank you’. We invest substantially in social events for every person throughout the year – think summer parties, black-tie award nights, plus your choice of an additional day out. These have included wine tasting at Chapel Down, The Cube immersive gaming, races at Ascot, golf at Westerham and afternoon tea at The Sanderson Hotel. It's all planned by our Social Committee, a group of colleagues who know exactly what brings people together to socialise, have fun and build a sense of belonging.

Role Overview
Renting a new home or letting out a property both come down to trust – and that's where you fit in. As a Lettings Negotiator, you'll guide that process from a tenant's first enquiry, through the viewings, to the moment they receive their keys. Landlords get the same care, as you help them find tenants who'll treat the place as their own. Every conversation matters and you're the one people rely on to make it happen.
What You'll Be Doing
Lettings moves fast and you'll be right in the middle of it – on the phone, managing emails and messages, and meeting tenants and landlords face-to-face. Relationships come first and it’s important that you understand what each landlord needs and what each tenant's looking for, so you can bring the right people together. A team around you will share their experience throughout the day and you'll have the right tools and technology to keep every application moving forward.
Alongside time at the office you'll be out conducting viewings and getting to know the properties and areas you're letting, inside out. As the role grows, you'll agree tenancies between landlords and tenants, keep accurate records and stay on top of changing legislation.
What We'll Look For in You
Whether you've worked in lettings before, we're more interested in how your personality will enhance the experience that benefits our landlords and tenants.

Behind each tenancy that starts smoothly is someone making sure every box is ticked before a single key changes hands. That's the role of Pre-Tenancy Administration. You'll pick up a tenancy from the moment it's agreed and guide it every step of the way, keeping landlords, tenants, contractors and the wider team pulling in the same direction.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll get the right paperwork in place at the right time – running background checks on new tenants, confirming they're legally allowed to rent in the UK and making sure every property has the certificates it needs to let safely. Nothing gets left to chance, from move-in appointments to key collection, you'll be the one keeping every detail on track. Landlords, tenants and service providers will look to you for updates so clear, confident communication matters just as much as accuracy. Our systems and records also rely on you to stay current and organised, alongside supporting the wider lettings team whenever it's needed.

Alongside that, you'll resolve issues quickly and keep everyone informed. When it's time to agree a renewal or change to a tenancy, you'll handle that too, always keeping to the rules around renting in mind.
