Promoted to Branch Manager, Strood

What did you do before joining the Group?

I first worked part-time in a gym but was made redundant, so I was forced to find something new. I had no idea what I really wanted to do - at the time I just wanted enough money to pay for my car insurance.

I fell into a job at the Daily Telegraph working in their call centre. I had to cold call

people and sell them yearly subscriptions to the paper. It was a tough sell but I stayed for two years as I enjoyed speaking to the public every day. I also loved the buzz of making a sale!

What attracted you to estate agency?

After two successful years at the paper but with no opportunity to earn more money or progress further, I started seeking new roles within sales. I went for interviews

1. Senior Lettings Consultant

The Robinson Jackson Group is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Lettings Consultant to work across SE London. Applicants must have knowledge of rental valuations and negotiations, and be familiar with the complex and fast paced lettings environment. Lettings presents exciting challenges, so the successful applicant must be able to hit the ground running, and be confident with both landlords and tenants. Knowledge of CFP and RPS software systems would be a distinct advantage, as would the achievement of gaining the Technical Award in Residential Letting.

2. Branch Manager

The Robinson Jackson Group is looking to recruit a Branch Manager who is ready to thrive in a rewarding, fast-paced environment. This vacancy is suitable for existing Branch Managers and Assistant Branch Managers looking to take a step up. 3. Sales Negotiator/Trainee

We are looking to recruit a Sales Negotiator or enthusiastic Trainee to join the team at our busy branch in Rainham. No experience in estate agency is required but applicants must have a good track record in sales and customer service. The successful candidate must be target driven, motivated and professional, with their own car. This is a full time position with training given and a motivational commission structure.

5. Senior Sales Negotiators

Robinson Jackson is looking to recruit Senior Negotiators in two of our busy offices. 6. Property Manager

The Robinson Jackson Group is looking to recruit a Property Manager to start with immediate effect at our Catford office in SE6. We are looking for a self starter who can deliver a first-class service to our landlords. You'll need a cool head, and be able to deal with unexpected and demanding situations in a professional way. Strong IT and administration skills are a must, along with your own car and references. Ideally you would already be familiar with lettings laws and legislations but we would consider applicants without experience, as full training will be given. 7. Part-Time Vacancy

The role is suited to someone wanting to start their career in Property Sales. It will give the candidate a great understanding of the sales cycle and all the processes and administration that make the sale/purchase of a house possible. You will be supporting the sales team in booking appointments, viewings, valuations and selling Financial Services. The role will also involve dealing with all front of house enquiries, answering the telephone and screening phone calls, meeting and greeting clients, and delivering a high level of customer service at all times. Candidates will also be required to complete administrative jobs as allocated by the office manager and manage individual projects.
