WHO'S RESPONSIBLE?

There is a level of up-keep tenants are responsible for. Many of these are legal and part of your tenancy agreement. A brief summary is as follows:

  • Take proper care of the property.
  • Undertake minor DIY jobs, such as unblocking the sink and changing a light bulb.
  • Limit damage to fixtures and fittings.
  • Report damage and broken items to the landlord or property manager promptly.
