The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026

The Robinson Jackson Group has been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026. Here's what that means and why it matters.

The verdict is in … The Robinson Jackson Group has been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 in the Medium Organisation category – and honestly, we couldn't be more proud!

It's an award that starts with real evidence. Every year, thousands of UK employees are surveyed anonymously about what it's actually like at their workplace every day. The Sunday Times then reviews those results and decides who makes the cut.

The results revealed some extraordinary findings that we’d love to share with you.

 Rated Excellent Across All Areas

First and foremost, our staff are happy – in fact they’re really happy! They feel incredibly proud to be a part of The RJ Group, they have brilliant relationships with their managers and they genuinely enjoy their job. So much so that 9 out of 10 would recommend us as a great place to work.

What makes that even more remarkable is how we compare to the rest of the industry. While the average estate agency scores just 37% on pride in the workplace, we scored 92%. And when it comes to confidence in the way the business is led and run, 91% of our team said they trust the people at the top – in a sector where the average is just 39%.

Overall, our teams rated us Excellent in every area of the employee experience. These aren't figures we put together ourselves. They come from real people, giving honest answers, about what it genuinely feels like to work here. That's what makes them mean something.

A Place to Build a Real Career

Around half our team has been with us for more than five years and a third for over a decade. In some of our branches, two or three generations of the same family have worked side by side. We're what you might call a 'sticky company' – because people like to stay with us.

It's not hard to see why. Only 2% of our team are considered likely to leave in the next nine months. Across the rest of the estate agency industry, that figure is 41%. People don't build long careers somewhere they don't love.

If you're thinking about a career in customer service – whether you're just starting out or ready for a fresh challenge – we'd love to hear from you. View our current vacancies here or pop into your local branch for a chat.

What This Means for Our Customers

Choosing an estate agent means putting one of the biggest financial decisions of your life in someone else's hands. You want to know the people handling it actually care and that they know what they're doing.

Here's the thing about happy teams. They're more motivated, more committed and more invested in getting the right result for you. And because our people tend to stay, that expertise builds over years, not weeks. At The RJ Group, you're not passed around a call centre or greeted by a different person every time you call. You're looked after by a team of people who know your situation, know your area and genuinely care how it all turns out.

We have over 13,000 Google reviews and a 4.9-star rating. That's not a marketing claim – it's thousands of customers telling you what their experience was actually like.

The Sunday Times Best Places to Work is one of the most respected workplace awards in the UK. But the real reason it matters is what it tells you about the company behind it. We're a business that looks after its people, and those people look after you.

Together, we make it happen.
