HELP DONATE PCs TO SCHOOLS
Drop off your PCs & tablets at our local offices to support schools reach out to children.
Drop-off points across Medway, Gravesham & Sittingbourne.
To help children who currently don’t have access to technology for home learning, we have teamed up with a Medway IT company, to supply vital equipment to local schools.
The initiative is in support of the BBCs ‘Make a difference give a laptop’ campaign.
Thank you for the many donations so far
Having seen our Facebook campaign, our customers have generously donated 56 computers via our offices to local schools. This includes a quick pit-stop with our IT partner to wipe the devices and repurpose them; ready to go for students.
Managing Partner Simon Woodcock said, “We have been blown away by how the community have rallied together. Thank you so much for donating your old computers. The schools we are supporting are incredibly grateful for the publics help with their efforts to reach out and teach pupils remotely.
I’d also like to express our thanks to Steve Shears, a local IT guru who has given his time. Featured in the Kent Messenger newspaper for his charitable efforts, Steve has gone above & beyond. Working with us to get devices ready for remote learning, and without you, this wouldn’t be possible.”
Do you have an old unwanted device?
There are lots of children on the school waiting lists in need of a device to join lessons via the internet. A Zoom call with a teacher, seeing friends, and taking part in school life is crucial for any child. That is why we will continue to support this vital cause.
Do you have a spare device at home? PCs, iPads, tablets are all perfect, even better if you have the charging cables.
Click the nearest drop-off point in the Medway, Gravesham & Sittingbourne area. We will arrange a Covid safe delivery, and organise the device to be wiped of personal information, repurposed, and ready for donation to a local school.
