Branch support for Sydenham High School

Robinson Jackson’s Sydenham office sponsors two prizes at Sydenham High School’s dance, drama and music awards.

Led by Partner Robert Wright, Robinson Jackson’s Sydenham branch is enjoying a blossoming relationship with Sydenham High School, supporting its fundraising events and helping raise awareness. The branch’s latest interaction was the sponsorship of two prizes at the school’s performing arts awards ceremony. Pupils and guests alike were thrilled with the presence of a very special guest - British stage director Marianne Elliott - who is most noted for her ground-breaking productions of Warhorse and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. She took to the stage alongside Robert to present the awards.

Robert also took part in some of the judging as well as representing his branch, working together with Head of Drama Laura Yandell; Headteacher Kathryn Pullen and Producer Scott Ponsford to judge the winner of the ‘Monologue Slam’.

Robert commented on the evening’s ceremony: “The atmosphere was electric and the performances by the students were outstanding. I was surprised at the clarity of speech, confidence and character depth of the performances. It was a real honour to present the Monologue Slam trophy to students Ellen Wylie and Laure Denaro. I am sure that it is the beginning of something great for the young stars!”

Our flourishing relationship with Sydenham High School is just one way The Robinson Jackson Group as a whole is supporting the communities which it serves. Across the board we are working with schools, organisations, charities and events, helping any way we can – be that sponsorship, promotional materials and endorsements on the Robinson Jackson Group Facebook page."
