Hot property in Bexleyheath & Abbey Wood

Homes for sale in Bexleyheath and Abbey Wood have been crowned London's 'hottest property', according to Rightmove's latest analysis of the capital's property scene.

Bexleyheath and Abbey Wood have been stealing the property headlines of late, topping a league of areas in London classed as 'hot property'. The Bexley Borough and the Royal Borough of Greenwich are perhaps the last bastions of affordability in London, giving home movers value-for-money combined with quick public transport links into the City. Jack Glyde, Branch Partner at our local branch comments: "Abbey Wood is turning heads thanks to the new Crossrail station that is well underway. There's some local movers but many are discovering the area for the first time - mainly those priced out of the City looking for more space within Greater London. Bexleyheath also remains a firm family favourite thanks to its exceptional schooling, including four grammars within the borough."

There's further good news for those selling but looking to stay in South East London and Kent - Robinson Jackson is valuing and listing more homes in 2016 compared to 2015, providing excellent choice for home movers. Jack continues: "We've been invited to value more than 5,000 homes during the first six months of 2016 and have listed more homes for sale this year than we did at the midway point in 2015. The market in the boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich is fluid, with some great mortgage products helping everyone buy, from first-time buyers and second-steppers to downsizers and investors."

Movers can drop into any one of Robinson Jackson's branches seven days a week - including Sundays - with our local property experts on hand to give advice on the local market and areas. Every branch also has an in-house mortgage advisor, many of whom offer same-day appointments. Find your local branch by clicking here, and get in touch for a free valuation or to book a viewing.
