Sidcup is settling in to its new style, following an extensive town centre regeneration, and what better way to celebrate than with the opening of a glut of on-trend micro breweries. But with real ale comes real life and Sidcup, together with its neighbour Blackfen, offers family-friendly living with a quick commute into London and an excellent choice of schools.

Sidcup & Blackfen: where?

Located in the Greater London borough of Bexley, these two towns sit at the point where south east London meets the county of Kent. Close neighbours include Bexley, Welling, Chislehurst and Eltham, with the brighter lights of Blackheath and Greenwich not far away.

Sidcup Place is a go-to activity hub, with tennis courts, a children's playground, pitch and put, and plenty of open space. If you like following in famous footsteps, take a moment at Sidcup’s train station, where it’s alleged that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards had a conversation about music, leading to the formation of the Rolling Stones.
